Summary:
The Human Resources Representative provides administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters and supports the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
General Duties:

  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with clinical credentialing and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and general employee inquiries.
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR services.
  • Assist in performance management tracking, including probationary evaluations and annual reviews.
  • Help coordinate training, staff development, and wellness initiatives.
  • Participate in audits, surveys, and reports related to HR compliance and healthcare standards.
  • Support employee relations by maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when addressing concerns.
  • Track and manage employee leaves of absence (FMLA, personal, medical, etc.).
  • Assist with staff engagement and recognition programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and candidate selection
  • Coordinating and conducting employee onboarding programs.
  • Ensuring new hires have completed all necessary documentation.
Benefits and Compensation:
  • Administering employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Assisting with payroll processing or resolving payroll issues.
  • Ensuring employees understand their compensation and benefits packages.
Record Keeping and Reporting
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Generating HR reports and analyzing trends for management.
  • Overseeing proper documentation of promotions, terminations, and other employee changes.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree required - Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in an HR support role; healthcare HR experience highly preferred. 
• Proficient computer skills, particularly Word and Excel
